About Ms. Rice

I am in my fifth year of teaching. I did my student teaching at Hahira Elementary School which is part of the Lowndes County School System. Go HES Kindergarten! I graduated from Valdosta State University in May 2004 with a B.S. Ed in Early Childhood Education. I received my M.S. Ed from Walden University in May 2009. I have taught school for about six years now. I live in Thomasville, GA. I attend First Baptist Church in Valdosta, GA. I love teaching! During school breaks throughout the school year I love to go visit other schools and meet with the teachers to see some of the things they do in their classrooms. I am always looking for new teaching ideas to use in my classroom. When I am not teaching I am shopping. My favorite color is pink. I also love animals. I have a 4 year old Cocker Spaniel named Fraser and three cats Kitty, Laurie Madison, and Drosselmeyer.
