Cats Page

I own three cats. I have two females and one male. The girls are named Nala and Laurie Madison. The boy is named Drosselmeyer. Nala is brown and gray with black stripes on her fur. Laurie Madison is gray with a little while on her chest. We took Nala in during the summer of 2001. She came in the yard looking for food. She had kittens in the summer of 2001. Laurie Madison was one of her kittens. We decided to keep her. Drosselmeyer is orange and white. He took up residence with us in September of 2002. Below are pictures of the cats and stories about them. Enjoy! In the future I would love to get a solid black cat as a pet since my Mom hates black cats.

Nala getting down from a chair on the front porch. This picture was made the first month we took her in.

Nala's Kittens! We kept the little gray one. Time I saw the little gray one I fell in love with her so I had to keep her. We gave the rest of the kittens away.

Laurie Madison by the back door. This is the kitten that we kept. I named her after some of the Brighton shoes named Laurie and some Brighton accessories named Madison. This is a picture of her when she was about a year old. She is now much fatter than that. She weighs about 11 pounds. She weighs more than Nala does now. Nala weighs about 9 pounds. Laurie Madison does not like a pet taxi. When we put her in one to take her to the vet or the groomer she will start having seizures. It is very difficult to travel with her.

Here is a picture of Drosselmeyer laying on my bed at my house. When he visits me this is where he likes to stay.
