Classroom Rules

Follow directions.

Feet and hands to yourself.

Small voices inside, tall voices on the playground.

Take care of your things and keep the classroom neat and clean.

Work together and respect each other.

Rewards

I will use positive praise and encourage good behavior for all students. Students will be rewarded with ribbons if they are doing their work, following directions, and if their name clip stays on the bear all day. Students will also receive ribbons for doing their homework and bringing their folders signed and homework back to school everyday.

6 ribbons - a piece of candy from the treat jar

9 ribbons - 1 item out of treasure chest

We will have ribbon cash in day on Friday of each week. Your child may get more than one reward depending on how many ribbons they have earned during the week.

Consequences

1st time - verbal warning

2nd time - green, time out in the classroom

3rd time - yellow, loose free time or snack

4th time - red, paddling or visit another classroom, parents will be called

5th time - visit principal

No Bullying Allowed!

No student will bully, put down, laugh at, or make fun of another child or anyone else in my classroom. If this occurs the student doing the bullying with have to apologize to the one they picked on and will go in time out. The second time this occurs the student will be paddled or the parents will be contacted. Under No Circumstances will I tolerate any form of bullying in my classroom.
