Decorating for Christmas
Here Mrs. Ragan is tying the yarn on some of our ornaments so we can hang them on the tree.
Here is our Christmas tree all decorated with the colored ornaments the students made and cut out. You can barely see the tree. Next year I think I will make the ornaments a little smaller so we can see a little more of the tree. I make copies of paper ornaments and the students color them and cut them out. The students write their names on the ornaments hang them on the tree.
The Polar Express
Mrs. Wilson, our curriculum director, read the story The Polar Express to us before we watched the movie in the gym that morning. We spent most of the morning in the gym. It was time for lunch when we finished watching the movie.
Here a student is coloring the pictures that went along with the movie. The students colored and cut out the pictures and the teachers went around and stapled the pages together in order.
Here sits all of the cups of yummy hot chocolate waiting to be consumed. Yummy!
