Every day after lunch around 11:25 am it is dog food time for Mrs. Ragan's dog. We named the dog Blacky. Blacky eats what the students leave on their plates from lunch. At 11:25 am we all shout "It's dog food time!" as Mrs. Ragan goes around and collects Blacky some food for dinner. I decided to take pictures one day during this time. Enjoy!
Here is a picture of all of the students shouting "It's dog food time!" You can see Mrs. Ragan in the background getting ready to collect the bar-b-q sandwiches. The students say yuck and Blacky says yum! It is major dog food day when the lunchroom serves bar-b-q sandwiches.
Mrs. Ragan has a sandwich in her hand and collecting trash with the other. The students freely give the sandwiches to Blacky.
Here all of the food has been collected and put in a bag. Now it just needs tying up and then it will be ready for Blacky. Every afternoon when Mrs. Ragan drives up the in the drive way of her house Blacky comes running. He knows she has him some food.

Blacky Gets Leftovers out of Ms. Rice's Fridge from home.

I cleaned out my refrigerator at home that morning before I came to school. I decided to take some old ham and bread to Blacky. I got this great idea that morning to make Blacky some ham sandwiches. While I made them the students worked in their journals and laughed. Mrs. Ragan took a picture.
Blacky gets dog food when we have parties at school. He gets the scraps.

Here is the picture of all of the dog food that is going to Blacky from the Valentine's Day Party in addition to his ham sandwiches. Blacky got a free pizza at Ms. Rice's expense account. I dropped a whole pizza on the floor when I was serving the students lunch. Pizza went all over my shoes, pants, and the floor. The students had them a good laugh. Thank goodness when had enough pizza to go around since we lost one.
