Every year the day before Christmas I make my annual trip out to Mrs. Lisa’s house to visit the Christmas trees. I went to a shower at her house about 11 years ago during Christmas time. She had a tree in every room of her house, bathrooms, dining room, and kitchen included. She had gifts wrapped under each tree. I was amazed at the beauty of the trees. I thought that is such a good idea. Each member of the family has their own Christmas tree in their own room in the house with their gifts wrapped under the tree. The gifts are wrapped in the color paper to match the color paint and wall paper in the room. The ornaments match the accent colors in the room. On Christmas Eve and/or Christmas Day the family goes from one room to another and watch each member of the family open their gifts. When that person opens their gifts they proceed on to the next room. The last several years I decided to take pictures. When you tour the house she will give you a 1 hour history and story about each Christmas tree and where it came from and how it was decorated. I don’t know which is more fun seeing the trees or hearing about the story of how she and her husband are going to spend their Christmas together. I love to look at these trees over and over again so with Mrs. Lisa's permission I have created a page especially for them. Sit back, relax, and get lots of decorating ideas. Enjoy!
