Favorite Places
On this page you will find some pictures of the favorite places that I have visited around the United States.
New York City, NY - June 2000
Savannah, GA - Spring 2002
My mother, our friend, Ms. Louise Marshall, and I went to Savannah to tour and do some shopping in the spring of 2002. We even went to Tybee Island. I want to go back to Tybee Island some day.

This is a picture of the beautiful scenery and homes in downtown Savannah.

Ms. Louise and me in front of the statue of Juliet Gordon Lowe, the founder of the girl scouts.

The Catholic Church in Savannah, GA. This church is gorgeous inside. It has marble floors and walls, and stained glass windows.

The sun rise above the ocean on Tybee Island. To get to see the sun rise was well worth the whole visit.

Here I am wading in the water at the beach. The water was so clear and pretty. I wish we could have stayed longer.

I just couldn't go to Savannah without doing some shopping. On that Sunday we hit Parisians at the Savannah Mall.
Amelia Island, FL - Summer 2002

The waves of water coming up to the shore. How relaxing!

This was the view of the sand and some motels taken from the water.

The nice deep hole I dug with my shovel and pail. When I finished the hole it was a little over two feet deep. Mom sat on the blanket and watched me dig it. What fun!

We went in this nice little store to purchase some jewelry, beach accessories and some souvenirs. I just had to shop somewhere.
Kentucky - Summer 2004

This picture was made at the Church Hill Down horse racing tracks in Kentucky.

This picture was made on a dinner train in Bardstown, Kentucky. We ate dinner on the train while we road around and toured the town and country side. We saw some beautiful homes, water, and mountains.
Savannah, GA - December 2004
In December 2004 my mother and I went with some of my aunts and cousins Christmas shopping in Savannah, GA. We also toured River Street and ate dinner one night at The Lady & Sons (Paula Dean).

Here I am standing in front of the water fall at the River Street Inn. I wish some day I when I go back to Savannah I could afford to stay at the River Street Inn.

Here are some of us sitting at a table with our purses at a little place on River Street. You can see the pretty Christmas decorations up above.

We had our picture made with Santa Claus on River Street.

Ah Rich's! This used to be one of my favorite stores to shop at in Georgia. We all did some serious shopping at the Oglethorpe Mall that Saturday. We took two SUV's and had them both filled up to the top of gifts. I spent most of my time in Rich's buying things and having them gift wrapped. I had nine gifts wrapped. Needless to say when we finished with the wrapping we had a pretty gift wrapping bill. I purchased a black Coach purse for my birthday and my Mom promised me she would give me the money to pay the bill when it came in the next month. When January came she forgot all about it so I had to pay for my new purse with that good subbing money I got in the month of January. How nice! Every time I carry that purse I always think about it taking my whole subbing check to pay for it.
